LET THE WAX POOL: The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the wax pool melts all the way to the edge; for a larger candle, this may take several hours. Wax has “memory,” so if it is extinguished with a partial pool, that will prevent a full, even pool from forming in the future. Be mindful of placement in your home, as air vents can affect the overall burn.

FOUR & TWO RULE: It is recommended that after burning for four hours, candles be extinguished, allowed to cool for two hours, and trimmed before relighting.

WICK CARE: Trim the wick each time you light the candle, removing any “bloom” from the previous burn. We recommend lighting a wick that is 1/4–1/2” in length.

KEEP IT CLEAN: Do not allow wick trimmings, dust, o

We use premium soy vegan wax; all the oils are vegan; and of course, the materials like the lid, label, and tumbler are BUT (and this applies to most candle companies, so I would make sure you always specifically ask), and the cotton wick is coated in a very small amount of bee's wax. The reason the wick is coated in bee wax is that it has a much higher melting point than soy wax, and it allows the wick to maintain its rigidness while the wax dries and cures. You don’t want the wick to absorb the oils, or it may not burn correctly, which could result in an unsafe burn. The portion of beeswax on the wicks' priming is, indeed, ethically sourced and makes up less than a percentage point of all materials used.

Unfortunately, at this time, we don’t have a place for local pickup. We are trying to expand our operations and hope to have a larger warehouse space that will allow this in the near future.

If you’d like to be able to pick it up in the near future, please tell your favorite local shop that we offer wholesale! It would mean the world to us!

Yes! None of our raw materials are tested on animals, and the small portion of beeswax on the wicks' priming is ethically sourced. See the question in regard to “Are your candles vegan?” for more info on why we use beeswax on our wicks.

Our candles have a clean burn, which makes them safe for you, your family, and, of course, your fluffy animal friends!

We use premium soy wax that is Sustainably Sourced from our partners, who aim to have 100 percent verified deforestation-free and conversion-free soy supply chains by 2025. We spend a little more on this wax because, simply put, it is the right thing to do. Our supplier has also committed to planting 150,000 trees by 2025.

Simple answer: Yes, they are clean!

Our fragrance and essential oils come from reputable vendors that produce these oils for this specific industry.

These oils are 100% phthalate-free and also carcinogen, mutagen, reproductive toxin, organ toxin, and acute toxin-free. We also ensure we adhere to all proper safety data, RIFM, and IFRA documentation.

Some aroma oils just do not exist in the natural world, so that is where synthetic oil comes into play. All of our fragrance oils are a combination of natural essential oils and synthetic aroma oils. When possible, we'll use essential oils to complement the fragrance oils, but some fragrance oils don't have notes that can be found in nature (for instance, chocolate fudge).

These are additional scent descriptors. These are the notes you'd get on the nose (kind of like when smelling wine) and are meant to describe our candle. If the name of the candle is also the scent, the scent will not be repeated in the additional descriptors but will be the main characteristic of the candle.

We do! Our holiday scents make up some of our favorite candles. We work with very little space to store raw materials, so these candles are usually only available from September to January. We encourage you to try our other candles while you wait for that special holiday scent!

This is just a little sample for you to smell! It is not meant to be lit. We sometimes have extra wax when we are pouring and it is a great way to showcase other scents.
