Why the Name Wash + Wik?
Wash + Wik began as a simple idea between husband-and-wife team Gary and Ariel. Originally, the name reflected our first products: Wash for handcrafted soaps and Wik for hand-poured candles.
Over the years, candles have become the heart of what we do, but we've never forgotten our roots. Today, Wash + Wik offers a thoughtfully curated collection of premium home fragrance products, including soy wax candles, reed diffusers, room sprays, wax melts, and our signature soaps.
How It All Started
The idea for Wash + Wik was born poolside during a mini vacation in 2018.
Ariel mentioned that she wanted to start making soaps and candles as a hobby. In true Gary fashion, a logo was created just a few days later, and Wash + Wik was officially born.
Today, our products can be found in boutiques across all 50 states, and we're proud to be featured at one of the most visited shopping destinations in the country, Disney Springs. In addition to our signature Wash + Wik collection, we create custom and private-label fragrances for retail shops, restaurants, resorts, and even cruise ships, helping brands create memorable scent experiences of their own.

Before launching Wash + Wik, we spent a combined 23 years in the hospitality industry, where attention to detail and creating memorable guest experiences were at the center of everything we did.
That same philosophy guides our work today.
Every Wash + Wik fragrance is personally hand-blended by Ariel, a Certified Sommelier whose expertise in aroma, balance, and sensory experiences inspires each collection. Drawing from both essential oils and premium fragrance oils, she creates distinctive scents designed to transform everyday spaces into memorable experiences.
Gary, affectionately known as our Chief Chandler, hand-pours every candle and carefully oversees production to ensure each product meets our standards for quality and consistency.
